T48 tracks were a type of rubber-chevron tank track used on U.S. World War II medium tanks, especially on M4 Sherman tanks with Vertical Volute Spring Suspension (VVSS). They were one of several track patterns fitted during the war and were notable for the distinctive V-shaped (chevron) rubber pads that improved traction.
